Prof. Supten Sarbadhikari, Director of Healthcare Informatics has been nominated as a member of the EMR Standards Committee of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
CAL2CAL is developing a prototype allied health application to be used in the domain of health informatics and Telehealth. The initial prototype has recently been completed and delivered to the University of Southern Queensland, Australia for field trial in Queensland and internationally.

Mr. Gora Datta, Chairman & CEO is representing the US, as a part of the US Technical Advisory Group, in the ISO TC:215 (Health Informatics) meeting in Istanbul from Oct 12th to 15th, 2008. In this meeting, on Oct 14th, he presents a talk on "eHealth Developing World – use of mobile PHR/EHR" in WorkGroup 8 session.
Mr. Gora Datta attends the HL7 Plenary and Working Group Meeting in Vancouver during Sep 14-19, 2008.On Sept 15th, he presented at a birds-of-feather (BoF) session on “eHealth in Developing Countries” and on Sep 17, at the EHR Workgroup session, he addressed the gathering on “Use of EHR/PHR in Developing & Emerging Economies”.
